Boston Scientific to Collaborate with Affinergy on Novel Cardiovascular Stent Coatings
RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C., November 1, 2005 - Affinergy, Inc., a Duke University spinout with a proprietary site-specific biological delivery system, recently signed a collaboration agreement with Boston Scientific (NYSE: BSX) to investigate new coatings for cardiovascular stents. Boston Scientific is a worldwide developer, manufacturer, and marketer of medical devices whose products are used in a broad range of interventional medical specialties.
