Affinergy Selected to Present at CED Venture Capital Conference
Affinergy's "site-specific biological delivery system" to be featured on main stage of prestigious investor conference at Pinehurst.
RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C., March 2, 2005 - Affinergy, Inc., a Duke University spinout with a proprietary site-specific biological delivery system, was selected by The Council for Entrepreneurial Development (CED) to present at Venture 2005. Scheduled for April 26-27, 2005, at Pinehurst Resort in Pinehurst, NC, CED's Venture 2005 conference will continue a 22-year tradition of showcasing North Carolina's innovation economy and leading investment opportunities.

Venture 2005 is the Southeast's most well-established venture financing conference. Presented by CED with support from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School and the National Venture Capital Association, Venture 2005 will showcase North Carolina's leading early and later-stage companies to hundreds of venture capitalists and financiers from throughout the United States. Since 1999, Venture presenters have raised over $1.6 billion in venture capital.
