DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER - TISSUE ENGINEERING / CELL BIOLOGY

Responsibilities:

• Invent, evaluate, formulate, develop biological or bio-artificial scaffolds for tissue regeneration using our propriety linker molecules
• To be a Team member of an integrated product development team

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering or a closely related discipline
• Experience in a medical device or biotech company is a plus
• Experience with stem cells and the design of in vivo models is a plus
• Hands on experience with three dimensional tissue engineering of heart, cartilage, or tendon
• Must be able to work on projects of a multidisciplinary nature
• Must be a self-starter, highly motivated, creative and able to work in a team environment
• Communicate clearly in written and verbal forms
• Ability to understand deadlines and commitments
• Willingness and ambition to learn and take on responsibilities
• Experience with development of Medical Devices under a Design Control environment is a plus
